My Favourite Subject!
My favorite subject would definitely be Physical Education. I like Physical Education because it helps us get healthy and it boost's up my confidence in playing sports. Also it is a great opportunity to get to know your classmates.Another reason is because Physical Education helps us get fit and healthy for future events and it helps us last longer. I enjoy having Physical Education because we get to play different education games that help us learn.

EZ Cross-country
On the 19th August 2011 I had the opportunity to participate in the Eastern Zone Cross-Country Tournament at Churchill Park School, Glendowie. There were about 14 schools that participated in the Y8 and Y7 divisions.
From where I was standing I really felt the nerves. Hopping into that van made me think twice. I thought about how disappointed I would be if I came last. Then I thought about the positives and what a great experience it would be for me.
When we arrived there I looked at how big the field was. I watched our Yr7 girls running and I knew if they could do it then I could do it. I walked up to the starting line and felt a little bit confident. The siren went and the race started. I began at a good pace and hoped I would keep running the whole way.
While running I felt the urge to stop but I tried really hard to keep going. The pain in my legs began to slow me down but I persevered. I felt happy when I saw the finish line .
When it was all over I was happy that I tried my hardest and I didn't back out. I couldn't wait to get home, have a long relaxing shower and put my feet up.
